The Dance of the Seven Veils is a short film that combines live-action performance with digitally created environments. Inspired by Oscar Wilde's play, it reimagines Salome's ritual dance as a journey of transformation and decay. The film begins inside a grand palace that is slowly collapsing. As Salome dances, her veils become wet and cling to her body, turning from symbols of beauty into instruments of suffocation. At the same time, a dark desert hidden beneath the palace is gradually revealed, while the architecture around her starts to disappear. As the space dissolves, Salome begins to sink inside desert sand. Her body slowly vanishes piece by piece until only her head remains. Through the collapse of both body and architecture, the film explores themes of desire, mortality, and the loss of identity.
